≠A pointless exclamation

I remember past writing experiences where it felt like swimming on calm waters. I could just lay back and float, feeling so peaceful and connected with my very own existence.

I mean, it was not an accomplishment worthy of praise from the world but, it felt good. To me.
I remember what was it like to read all over again what I just had written, enjoying every word, every sentence. It was then that I realized just how much I'm fond of my own words. There have been a few amount of people that actually compliment my writing and I always tell them the same damn thing:

I am not a writer. I like the idea of being one (I like how it sounds), it leaves a good taste in my mouth but it is just not true. I don't have it guys. I just fake it, comfortably sitting behind an old Mac, pretending that I write with a purpose and that other people will take something good, useful to their lives from it.

Oh well. For some reason (That I do not know),  I keep trying. I dare to say this is a good thing. Persistence.
I'm still alive, my fingers are at my disposal and guess what, I'm back!

Hooray for me exclamation point exclamation point exclamation missing punctuation
